I mean, he's not wrong. In principle I'm as antiwar as it gets but that requires recognizing when ending war requires fighting/winning wars, and wars require accepting that sacrifices come with them. Europe is living in this odd lala land where war is always someone else's failure and job to solve

It is 1000% my experience that EU firms gain an international advantage by being organizationally subject to GDPR and thereby subject to a degree of intrinsic trust. The issue they face is lacking a scalability path that doesn't depend on mostly American/Chinese short-term-ROI-focused investors
