Incredible footage - a new video shows a full minute before an incident where an protest attendee was repeatedly punched by police. Both the Premier and NSW Police have told us not to judge 30 second videos because we don't know what preceeded them. Well...

I lived through this in the 50s & 60s. It wasn't a great idea then (which is why many of us second wave feminists fought against it); and it's not such a great idea now. (People have really short memories about past eras, so maybe they don't recall how bad the "good old days" really were. But I do.)
