These puzzles are really fun, but the moment they become unsolvable without the arcane knowledge of some complex geometry algorithm is when it's time for me to go back to crosswords

Ok I think I'm tapped out after this one. The complexity of p2 was way beyond me. I finally solved by visualizing the shape and using my human ability to break out of the system to get an answer

Starting to feel the groove of the puzzle styles, and relying more on regex matching is a quality of life improvement!

I set myself up pretty well in part 1 with a map of splitter locations, so I only had to modify a few things to accommodate part 2.
