I watched Cyndi Lauper in Melbourne grab a rainbow flag 🏳️🌈 from off-stage, drape it around herself, and sing the most beautiful rendition of True Colours.

Yeah, I’ve browsed YouTube as a guest, and it is absolutely worth paying for Premium (2+ ads at the start of most videos, plus intermediate ones).
I 100% support people making a living.. but I’ve unsubscribed from otherwise great creators because their ad reads are too intrusive and jarring.

YouTube have, to their credit, recently started rolling out a feature that, if you pause and start to skip forward, it’ll automatically jump to the “most skipped to” location - which, shock horror, is always the point right after the ad read. It’s almost like people DON’T FUCKING WANT ADS!!!
