I think our reality is that fire season is never quite over. We've had above-average rainfall for this time of year, but we've barely gotten into the wet season. A prolonged period without rain, with maybe an offshore wind event or two, can dry things out and raise wildfire risks.

This afternoon BART crews safety removed this tree and branches from the trackway. We are running single track service through the area and will make repairs overnight.
