This was surprisingly complicated to code, but water elementals now have a whirlpool ability that pulls you (and items and other monsters) toward them.

(And you can be hurt by colliding with a wall or monster, etc)

Not 100% happy with the spiral animation though

I've been working on a submerged/underwater cave this week and couldn't not have the most terrifying looking sea creature of them all: an angler fish.

It's hard to see in the video but if you are within sight of it, you may be compelled to swim toward it.

The next thing I'm working on is an underwater cave. I didn't like the underwater effect I made a while back, and here's a new version based off the fog animation I made a couple of weeks ago. Next up: filling the cave with vicious, nasty fishies...
