Xavier’s Law complements federal Bill C-14, which gives judges the ability to impose driving bans for dangerous or reckless driving that causes death or serious injury.
Together, they strengthen both prevention and accountability. This legislation is about ensuring safer roads in B.C.

I had the privilege of visiting Sooke Fire Rescue and the Metchosin Fire department, both of which recently received funding through the BC CEPF.

Had a great lunch with members of the Truck Loggers Association today with colleagues.

Fun fact: Barry Simpson approached to inform me that he’d worked with a Lajeunesse at Jordan River in the early ‘70s. I told him that would be my dad, Bob. So, needless to say I have a new friend.
