Last school year I started making meals on Sundays to bring into the student fridge on campus. 10-12 meals/week. The impact was incredible, and others started sharing things as well. We really can take care of each other 💜

But the thing is, we don’t want to get to the point of massive consequences bc it’s going to suck for absolutely everybody…and it’s going to, of course, hit poorer communities, black communities, and communities of color first (as many have already seen with data centers).

Judge: That's what I'll do. Prohibit federalization or deployment of any NG troops into Oregon. For all reasons in prior opinion. Deployment of federalized military is ultra vires and contrary to law, violating Title 10, section 12406. I also find it's likely that defendants violate 10th Amendment.

I feel safer staying close to the people I know would move heaven and earth to keep me alive.

Maybe that calculus is wrong. The gov’t is so much bigger than my community. But… as terrified as I am, I still feel safer in it than without it.
