The problem with Democrats in the Biden era wasn’t the content of the domestic policies, it was the total failure to sell them and to understand, manage, and master the media environment, especially social media.
This right here, this exact sentence, is THE problem in American political journalism.
The IRA *was* cheap energy and good jobs! That was the whole bill! Democrats did precisely what political pundits are telling them to do and the pundits just ignore it.

When the market plummeted, they profited to the tune of more than $150 million. The remarkable timing led some researchers and institutions to question whether the trader had inside information from the White House about upcoming tariff announcements, and the blockchain analytics company Arkham labeled the wallet “Trump insider whale” on their platform.10
Some researchers suggested that the wallet might belong to Garrett Jin, the former CEO of BitForex, a Hong Kong-based exchange that shut down in early 2024 amid exit-scam allegations [W3IGG]. Without initially addressing whether he controlled the wallet, Jin posted to Twitter that “I have no connection with the Trump family or Donald Trump Jr. — this isn’t insider trading”, but then later deleted the tweet. Trump just went on Fox and said radical right extremism is justified as a response to the left. If Trump wanted to explicitly encourage the right to wage violent open warfare on the left as payback for Kirk, he couldn't have done much better than that.
