This is my favourite part of any leftovers. Opening the fridge door to see what is at hand, and then reimagining something completely different. Having a well stocked spice shelf helps.

Let’s not forget his primary focus is always to reduce reliance on the US(which he cannot state out loud, obvs). If we can ship oil without going thru the US we not only sell at a higher price, but we are not as affected if the US decides to tariff the heck out of us. We need to address that risk.

Try looking at this thru a Carney lens. He’s been consistent on our need to reduce reliance on the US for trade. This is part of that puzzle, since it will give us an alternate path to market. The US is already eating our lunch with every barrel we ship south & it will only get worse. Much worse.
