Today's #WeekWithoutDriving adventure: Biking like 40 pounds of compost 11 miles across Dallas only to find that I came on the wrong day. Luckily they let me drop it off anyway.

My ride was mostly pleasant and I'd do it again, but planning is key!

We at Dallas Area Transit Alliance oppose DART’s 5% GMP. This proposal threatens the future of DART and the livelihoods of thousands who rely on crucial bus, rail, on demand, and paratransit routes.

Stand with us to protect DART. #nocapsnocuts

Central part of @dallasurbanists.org mission is to change the local conversation in Dallas about what a street can and should be.

If you live in Dallas's District 11, DON'T FORGET TO VOTE Saturday, June 7th in the D11 runoff!
While we can't officially endorse as a group, read our Substack post by Hexel Colorado about Bill Roth's long record of opposing affordable housing- and why housing advocates are concerned.
Vote Pro-Housing in June 7th City Council Runoff Election!
Jeff Kitner led a coalition for more trails. Bill Roth blocked affordable housing at every turn. Your vote decides the future of North Dallas.

Call your rep and bring SB 15 (starter homes bill) across the finish line!
Conference report is out & the offending amendment has been removed!

TX folks, call your house reps here if you got some time today: wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home

Tell them to vote yes on SB 15! Lowering minimum lot sizes for new developments will reduce sprawl and boost affordability.

DART is taking public comments on service cuts that would be required to fund the 5% General Mobility Program that gives DART funding back to the cities. Our transit network needs to be growing, not shrinking- speak out against these cuts at these meetings this June!
