Absolutely. Mocking the disabled reporter should have been the end of him. Yet he was elected and then reelected after J6. And there is still a huge percentage of people who approve. The US has to clean house before anyone can trust them again. Not going to happen in my lifetime.
Yes, in Canada we are very clear-eyed about this. Trump isn't the problem. He's the symptom. The cancer behind Trump is multi-faceted: white supremacy, Christian nationalism, illiteracy, hyper-militarism, American exceptionalism, and military corporatism.
