Not a 1CC but I beat Vs. Castlevania tonight. Couple of corrections and notes:
Damage does not increase above 6/hit until loop 2.
The time in stages 1-3 is much shorter than the NES version.
Red Skeletons raise a bit faster.
Stages 4-6 are not much more difficult than their NES counterparts.
