i grew up in the 80’s when gambling was pretty much illegal other than Vegas and Atlantic City. And bookies who’d break your fingers if you didn’t pay. It’s gotten so bad now. just one more symptom of the end of empire. Gambling only takes and takes and takes.

It’s one war crime, one murder, one assault, one theft of our money to give to their family, one racist tirade after another. Never ending levels of, frankly, evil. That is met silently by national opposition leaders and cheered on by party members in power.
I am sickened on a daily basis.

I’ve never been more grateful to be older. The youth are inheriting dystopia. I have seen beauty, lived in hope, had pride in my country. I feel bad all of that will be gone soon. At least here in the US. I’ve stopped thinking trumpism is a blip. This is the beginning. Of the end.
