Love the colour too
I paused for a moment to really enjoy this leaf. For a moment…I just lost myself in the brilliance of its color. That is all.

Other City Councils all over the US can directly remove a mayor when egregious situations come up — they don’t have to wait on a governor. Am. Harvey Epstein & I just introduced a state bill to give our City Council that power too.

Can't wait for the regulation

Makes sense
When the political establishment said this was impossible, thousands of New Yorkers came together to make it happen anyway. I’m so proud to be in this movement with all of you ❤️✊🏾🌹

The Brooklyn Navy Yard’s lease agreements with Easy Aerial and Crye Precision are a moral failure and a betrayal of public trust.

I’ll be with the DBNY Coalition tomorrow at 8:30am outside Building 92. See you there. ✊🏾🇵🇸

Some exoplanets two to four times Earth’s diameter known as sub-Neptunes seem to contain puzzlingly large volumes of water.

A new experimental study confirms a chemical reaction by which these planets could make their own water. https://scim.ag/4nvp4wI

Stopped by @unitehere.org local 100 yesterday to rally with some of the workers who've been knocking on doors week after week across the five boroughs.

I'm very grateful to their leadership and members for the support!

I’m heartbroken to learn that two New Yorkers have drowned as a result of today’s torrential rain and flooding. Their families and loved ones are in my thoughts tonight.

This kind of sudden and intense rain has become the new normal—and our infrastructure isn’t prepared for it.

Two men, one in Central Brooklyn and another in Upper Manhattan, were found dead in flooded areas after intense rain arrived late on Thursday.

That a federal judge had to block the Trump administration from pushing millions of Americans into hunger says everything about this President and the party he leads.

Grateful to our Attorney General for being on the frontlines of this fight.
In a major victory, a court ruled the Trump administration must use emergency funds to provide food stamps to Americans.

Each fall, we devote an issue to power, which admittedly is not the first word that comes to mind when you think about the Democrats. They’re in the minority in Congress and long ago lost the war over the Supreme Court. Yet that’s what makes power interesting.
