My first flight was Delta, mid 1960s. They had engraved sterling silver utensils & china plates. And handed out free 5-packs of Winstons.

Came here to say this. Complaining about getting 3 pretzels isn’t Secretary of Transportation level issue. But this admin is full of habitual petty complaints. Letting Boeing off the hook for shitty ops that caused doors to fall off mid-flight then whining about snacks is insane.

Yrs ago I was in the lunch line at the cafeteria at work. A woman behind me saw the dessert of the day was banana pudding, & she asked me if it was good. I told her it was pretty good, so she bought it. Later she hunted me down to tell me she didn’t like it. “But I don’t like bananas,“ she said. 🤦‍♀️

Reading all the takes on various bread & pastry enclosed foods, if a meat pasty isn’t a pie, what say you about fried (fruit) pies? It’s a hand pie to my mind. Hand pies are like small pies with only the bottom crust, which is then folded to encase the filling fully.

My county has gone on a warehouse building spree the past few years. Why the county commissioners & planners can’t see won’t listen) that requiring warehouse roofs to install solar arrays could be a game changer, I don’t understand.

We’re also fighting a data center & politicians are so ignorant.
