So is Twitter not also in ways segregated by language and country demographics, or do people in other countries just don't care about AI CSAM and blatant Nazis from the melting pot of Twitter?

Most of us joined this website because it wasn't ran by a Nazi who was promoting CSAM. The mod suck here, the dev team sucks, but at least we're not getting AI nudes made out of us as much. So I'm not really sure what we're supposed to do about that.

Hell it doesn't even have to be the Nazis. Half the trans people on the internet were just paralyzed in fear about getting letters from the FBI because someone on tiktok lied... There is no more reality.

It turns out it's really easy to manipulate your people when you play on their fears. If reality is what we perceive, and we have no way of perceiving things other than what propaganda tells us, then your reality becomes whatever the Nazis tell you it is.

We've seen outside the US what disinformation and propaganda can do on large scales, see Facebook and Myanmar.

It's just wild seeing how many people are telling us that we are the exact same as the government that wants to murder us.
