Digimon Survive has it where you can only get the true ending on NG+, the problem is that it requires you to replay through another 30 hour campaign (probably 15 if you skip the new story they give you in NG+ and combat being much easier early on) and it killed my enjoyment of the game a lot.

and often, they'll launch on steam at a discount. The devs are losing more money as a result, but on the consumer side, it's waiting 1-3 years to get the game cheaper, with more content, and a more stable product. Unless the studio goes under during the exclusivity period.

There is a game on Steam called Mutiny! A few years back, it was delisted off Steam for containing "adult material" and they were blamed for having childlike characters (IIRC) or maybe it was just them banning games that had any sexual content, it took a bit of time before Steam reinstated the game

For real, as a kid I kept thinking "Oh, I'm going to hate these" and I never ate them, but when I grew up, an old roommate of mine was frying some up, I thought "Maybe I'll like them, lets give it a chance" and then seeing they were amazing and then finding out because Science improved them.

I'm still disappointed that IZ11 uses it for the crowds and I still hold onto the belief that they used it for the Eng VA for Chronicle Mode because the other alternative is that they recorded the dub 10 years ago using people they found on the street and never replaced it.
