The prompt for day 12 of the #30DayMapChallenge is a "map from 2125", and this one *almost* fits that description! This shows the areas of Scotland likely to be affected by coastal erosion by 2100 🗺️

In 2018, Meta decided “clean energy” and “climate change” were politically sensitive topics, and demanded that I - a climate scientist - register as a political org to post and boost posts on them.

I refused, and my page has been shadow banned since then. For 7 years. Until this week, that is 😳

These saplings seem fine. It feels relatively calm just now. You wouldn't think there was more high winds forecast for later. So there's lots of people here. #StormAmy #Edinburgh

Rest of Inverleith Park not much damage for now. Just a few branches down. Might be worth closing the gates though.

Site inspections will be carried out before re-opening on Sunday (October 5).

Plan ahead and take care.

Huge limb fallen 5 metres off a tree onto the path round the pond at Inverleith Park. You can still get round by walming on the grass. #StormAmy #Edinburgh

RBGE gardens currently closed to visitors because of #StormAmy . I hear they've sadly had damage to glass panes in some glasshouses, not the Palm House. And a couple of trees damaged too. And more high winds still expected! Be careful out there people! ⛈️🌀 #Edinburgh

The Government will be testing the emergency alert system this Sunday at 3pm. Compatible mobile phones and tablets will make a loud siren-like sound and vibrate. If you have a device hidden from an abuser, this alert could reveal it. You can opt out using the advice below. www.gov.uk/alerts/optin...
