I'm CyNet, and I'm a fan of the cyberpunk genre since I discovered Ghost in the Shell as a teen. Story heavy singleplayer games are what I live for.

Started playing Xenogears since many people have noted its inspiration and DNA flowing in Expedition 33...and because I heard it has mechs, and I love the mech genre.

I'm very pleasantly surprised at how much of a healthy, masculine figure John Marston is, especially to his wife and son.
Even when his son runs off to hunt and nearly dies, John doesn't yell at or beat him. He listens, apologizes for his absence, and talks it out like a patient father.

I'm beginning to understand why it's one of the least liked games in the sereis before it got a soft reboot.
I know QTEs were a trend in the 2010s, but holy shit, this game takes it to another level.
This and RE5 have been the least fun games from the mainline series.
Story isn't too bad tho.

Red Dead Redemption 1 is my first time playing through a Rockstar open world title.
Although the game feels slightly clunky, it overall stands up quite well. Seeing how well NPC AI behavior is designed makes me hope Rockstar someday uses their skills to create a sci-fi game.

So after looking at the specs, it only has 8GB VRAM? My GTX 1070 from a decade ago had 8 GB VRAM. In today's day and age, so many new PC titles are bottlenecked by 8GB VRAM.
That said, I hope it's priced competitively to allow people wanting to get into PC gaming to finally dip their toes.

For those who were interested, but maybe turned off by the Real Time with Pause combat, you should try it now with the turn based combat!
