My poor Throgmorton hates fireworks. Somebody just set a load off next to our building and since we’re on the sixth floor the noise is enormous.

The boys did not like the display a couple of days ago. If it was just a few designated of times a year we could prepare, but it’s just random.

The stump of the laburnum tree I used to climb as a kid. A branch fell off and destroyed the seat underneath it, so my mum had it cut down as it was dying. It’s incredibly sad for me, this loss of a childhood friend, but to see mushrooms growing in it was good.

I do not claim to be good at painting, but I’m pleased this turned out kinda how I wanted it. Yes, it is based on Millais’ painting of the Princes in the Tower with Radagast as Richard Duke of York and Throgmorton as King Edward V.

Specifically I want to be Twiglet. She’s not clever and, as a result, forgets about bad things about two minutes after they ended. She’s in a state of happiness all the time. Sometimes she’ll just start purring for no reason. I adore her.

A nearly six month old ginger kitten is lying down in a plant pot. The plant pot has earth and some vegetation in it, but since the kitten is taking up most of the available surface space, not much of this is visible. He looks content.

I made a Mari Lwyd. I highly suggest looking it up if you’re unaware of it, but it’s a wassailing tradition from South Wales (and my granny was born in Monmouthshire so I wonder if she saw it as a child. Maybe not, it was the First World War.)

Throgmorton has decided that I spent hours upholstering the chaise longue entirely for his benefit.

Throgmorton is chaos incarnate, which is to say he is a ginger kitten.
On an armchair, on top of one cushion and half behind another, is a ginger kitten. He’s on his back with his legs in the air, though the amount of motion blur makes his positioning slightly unclear in places. There is a furry brown toy in the middle of the whirlwind of legs. His mouth is open and you just know that if you ventured to put your hand anywhere near you’d have a high chance of being grabbed and brought into the tornado of chaos and claws.

Twiglet has decided to live in a cave to escape the hijinks of Throgmorton and Radagast.

Throgmorton and Radagast Mushy Pea have a small pile of boxes to play in. They love them, proof that they are truly proper cats (currently in a convenient pocket edition size).
2 kittens are in a small Amazon box. One is entirely inside the half-opened box. He is a brown tabby with pale fur around his eyes, which are staring straight at the camera with a winsome expression. The other is sitting up and looking across to the right. He is a fluffy ginger boy. Both are impossibly cute.
