I just went to their website and counted: The higher-ed institution I remain happy to have left ~4 years ago literally has 9 people with Vice Provost titles, one of which is "Senior Vice Provost for AI", as well as a separate "Chief of Artificial Intelligence".

I've written a short comment regarding this new MIT study that is being passed around and why it is horseshit. "11.7% of US workforce is being replaced by AI" my ass. Thought that might be of interest. Also - thanks for all your work, you are one of the best resources out there.

Universities are assembling larger and larger teams to deal with academic integrity issues--mostly focused on AI--while simultaneously holding AI "writing" contests, AI-themed events, "hey, come play with these fun tools!" The messages are so mixed, it's criminal. Because AI is bloated with money.
