the uniformed officers who accepted the orders and the operators who carried them out are also in jeopardy. We all get hours of LOAC refresher annually plus large blocks of instruction at staff college and war college

me: retired colonel, 23 years active duty on 3 continents. All officers receive mandatory annual Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC) training plus in-depth study at staff college and war college

I know. I got a full day of UCMJ training every year for 23 yrs--plus weeks of it at staff college and war college.
But if these guardsmen were federalized under known false facts, and then injured...you think there is no basis for redress?

I'm not a lawyer. I assume you aren't either. But I did serve 23 yrs on AD and have some experience dealing with the NG and 5 yrs in the Pentagon and living in DC.
I guess we will see.

I think it's fair to point out that they were WV guardsmen...who should not have been there. DC has a National Guard...in fact POTUS is the CINC of the DC guard.

that book is connecting so many dots for me...I had no idea Malcolm McLaren was a shopkeeper to the kids, how brief punk really was and how the synth was the real DIY tool that let all these art school kids create.
