i'm trying out animations for the arrows in Folk Emerging's foodweb screen, both to help clarify the direction of the relationships and to bring more life to it visually.

there are 2 contexts for the foodweb interface in my prehistoric strategy game:

🍏 Foraging species for Food + bonuses
🌱 Domesticating species, e.g. to use in Farms and Pastures

i've tried to streamline the UI to show only info relevant to the selected context 👇

i cast the INFINITE TOOLTIPS spell, a #NightmareFrontier to develop, but helpful to players who want to learn at their own pace :)

Infinitely nested tooltips are here! ♾️

Initial playtests have proven that a game as deep as Folk Emerging could really benefit from nested tooltips to help players learn the concepts at their own pace, so I'm super excited to have this working :)
