Patients taking nirogacestat for up to 4 years saw ongoing tumor shrinkage, with 46% having a major reduction or disappearance. Pain and quality-of-life benefits stayed strong, and side effects lessened over time. These findings help clarify its long-term value.

Research shows that pediatric patients with superficial CIC-DUX4 sarcomas may experience better outcomes than those with deep-seated tumors or adult cases. More research is needed to understand these differences and improve care for children with rare sarcomas.
