Today is Chondrosarcoma Awareness Day. We honor every person impacted by this diagnosis. Chondrosarcomas are a specific type of bone sarcoma that most often affects adults, and are most likely to develop in the joints, pelvis, or long bones.

Jordan’s Dream Fund was established in 2017 in memory of 28-year-old Jordan Andrew Singer, a patient with epithelioid sarcoma. This program, in partnership with Jordan’s Dream Fund, helps cover out-of-pocket expenses for sarcoma patients participating in clinical trials.

Jody’s son, Parker, was nine when he was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma. Through simple traditions, her family held onto joy and normalcy. After Parker passed at 13, Jody learned that sharing grief out loud can connect and strengthen us.

SFA is accepting applications for the 2026 Last Mile Sarcoma Research Award. This one-year, $150,000 grant supports sarcoma researchers seeking to strengthen the resubmission of R01 or equivalent proposals to advance understanding and treatment of sarcoma. Applications are due by 2/2/2026, at 5 pm.
