TL;DR Sex is personal, incest play is fun, incest play =/= real incest, sex is a part of self expression, don't base your politics on disgust, change the channel if you don't like what you're watching

(also, this is already a massive dissertation but i wanted to add that incest fetishists are also very much not into actual incest. i've yet to meet one who actually wants to get it on with a blood relative.)

this is because sex is a personal, intimate thing that can be (and often is) used to express parts of your personality you otherwise keep away from daylight. it's good to know yourself, know how to express yourself, and know when to let others have the space they need for themselves.

ultimately, it *is* harmless. the point of the original post is to warn against basing your politics on your personal sense of disgust. not everything is for everyone, but when you see something you don't like that's harmless, it's better that you move on and go elsewhere than rail against it.

if i could put it in a single thought, i might say "what if i got to be the little sister i never was? what if i got to be loved and accepted in that way? what if i got to be comforted in that role"?
