The old term was Voodoo math. The city has created a “halo” area for the TADs. Saying that the made up “halo” areas boomed due to the TADs, namely the Beltline, leading to an additional $35m in tax revenue. Thus we should extend the TADs. I hate politics.

Everytime I ride by the old ATL Police Training facility, I get so mad. There is so much industrial space available that they could have bought and expanded to build Cop City in an appropriate area. Plenty of parking, warehouse space, and land for any use. Makes no sense they built on a greenspace

Let’s not forget we are spending millions a year at nearly $100/hr for APD to provide security at various city locations. While a political ally takes money off the top. The Atlanta Way.
