A glimmer of hope on a dark horizon. I grew up bigoted against gays and same sex marriage, AND I WAS WRONG. If a man can grow up, so can a nation.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy needs to binge watch air disaster investigation videos. And resign.
There really needs to be some sort of awards like the Nobel or Pulitzer only for paste-eating moronity.
BREAKING FOX NEWS: Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy goes on the record: "Pilots need to stop depending on air traffic controllers. They need to suck it up and go with their gut feelings."

Is this a thing people think? That asking WTF you are talking about when you can't string together words to actually say what you mean makes others autistic? No, friend, it makes you an inarticulate dope.

Salk's act was altruism. A better example is WWI: the US nationalized Marconi's patents and assigned to GE to ensure unified military communications. This led to the NBC networks monopoly that was later broken up to restore competition. Socialism is an essential part of healthy government.

Hardly a day goes by that I don't find a design flaw in Microsoft office software that, if my employee had done it, I'd fire them. Why are we still paying these schmucks?

Yesterday at the day job, we played 2 truths and a lie. Care to play?
1. I know George R.R. Martin
2. I once has a NASA astronaut working for me.
3. I published a Crosby, Stills, & Nash song.

Have you ever considered that we use an alphabet designed for Latin instead of the runes designed for our own language pretty much entirely because of 2,000 year old politics?

I pledge to block every single Youtube channel I see posting AI generated science or history slop. Not because the AI imagery is misleading trash--which it is--but because the content is vapid and dubious. Give me kids who's passion for science or history pays for their home any day.

This UPS plane crash is sobering. Fortunately, it was freight with only a few souls on board, but tragic for the families. It appears to have had a major engine fire before leaving the ground and, heavily laden, never cleared the airport perimeter.

Only 9? Nonsense. Linux is superior in every way but one: market dominance resulting from anti-competitive practices in the early days. That's about to change, though, now that nations have recognized the resulting cyber threat that dominance poses.
