💡 We look back on a rich academic and cultural program. Beyond many intriguing talks by the participants and faculty members, a city tour through #Montreal, a picnic at Mont Royal, and an excursion to Kahnawá:ke gave participants the opportunity to get to know some parts of the city and its vicinity

The international summer school brought together 16 (post-)doctoral researchers from 🇦🇹 Austria, 🇨🇦 Canada, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇵🇱 Poland, 🇺🇸 the USA and 10 faculty members, also from both sides of the Atlantic.

Next Fri, Sherry Lee Linkon (Georgetown U) will deliver the second keynote of the BAA-Conference "Labor, Unions, and the Future of Work," speaking about ways in which Black women have been pushing back on the erasure of Black lives and communities in narratives of deindustrialization in the US.
