Don’t mind me just tracing the gyres. Talk about politics a lot but mostly want to talk about Stevie Wonder and August Wilson. She stay in the hills, he stay in Atlanta, I pay for them both.
Hahahahahaah yes I do enjoy it very much.

I mean don’t wish don’t start wishing only wounds the heart but like you can let a secret guilty ember of hope live in your secret heart if you want.

Honestly, I don’t have a strong feeling between Talarico and Allred, although I’m maybe the only politically involved native Texan who doesn’t. If I were home I might put one more feather on the scale for Paxton ngl.

Pretty sure Dems didn’t even win white voters in 2018. Dems winning white voters for the first time since 1964 would probably mean seventh party system hours.

Only I guess I have to get better at rhyme to fool chatGPT?

I wrote this like a month ago in my series of poems answering the question Gwendolyn Brooks asked Jericho Brown (what is your conception of the line) so like I’m a hacker AND a prophet, tysm

Now you
can soak the secret down
like allergy dissolving
on your tongue, the line
is a brain bamboozler
Now no more defense…

Lmaoooooo I love how y’all tag me in all this poetry bc I never stop blathering about it.

But that’s actually so fascinating and I’m curious if it helps that it rhymes. Also I have a poem about this!

Groups can have different characteristics, it’s okay, it won’t break the concept or anything

My bad, I knew the swolecialist dude was white and I was genuinely shocked to first thing he would say something dumb like that and am now shocked to see that two different people have made swole but Marxist their schtick lmaooooo

The joke is they’re all ekphrases, more or less. Not real ekphrases bc there’s only seven or so that are about visual artworks but they all respond to other people’s art in various ways. So fanfiction! Or an orange moon, which is orange bc it’s reflecting the sun. Also an Erykah Badu song.

It was called Orange Moon until this evening at which point I realized it’s actually called Fanfiction, or, Orange Moon.

Yes but poets read poetry and all the poets I love are ethical, wherein alas the problem lies.

There are also some poems that just need to be heavily revised. I dunno. My subconscious is not all the way healed and this shit comes out of my subconscious. I dunno I dunno I dunno.

Like idk little things add up and like there’s a poem that is only very mildly critical of Michelle Obama and I can say it’s because like… it’s an ekphrasis on her official portrait, the portrait is only so critical of her… but still…

Right. Bob Iger follows the rule of “as long as doing the right thing is only 1-5% less profitable than doing the wrong thing, we can afford to do the right thing.” And sometimes we have to prove the right thing is at least as profitable as the wrong thing, but when we do that, they listen.
