You might just be joking here but this has never been my sense of LSU football expectations?
Don't think most fans expect to win a natty every 4 years. I think most expect not to lose 3+ games every season, make the 12-team CFP more often than not and be a serious title contender every 3ish years

Yes, thank you! I maintain every year there are 5 teams that are actually good and 5 who truly stink. Most results between the middle 20ish is basically just who wins the one-score games/has better injury luck
