This book is pure enlightenment. An African History of Africa by Zeinab Badawi. I basically had no concept of African History other than ancient Egypt and the European history of slavery and colonialism. I'm a wiser man now. Can't recommend it enough!

My hometown Odense has a new Mediterranean restaurant Amaro. I had this beautiful meal yesterday. Bacalao croquettes. Artichokes. Rigatoni with a rabbit ragu.

I love living in the city of Odense with buzzing life and plenty of culture around me. I also love living less than five minutes walk away from this river/creek, Odense Å. I need both things in my life.

My (generation 2) Chromecast has stopped working, which I can see is a global issue. With no streaming possible, it's good to have a solid physical collection!
