I doubt he ever had a blanket on before. He would not have been in a cold place when he raced in CA, AZ and IA. He left IA in Sept 2023 so no snow. He looks wonderful in his blanket. 😍

It looks like the elk are really spread out now. It's like here, when the snow geese arrive together and then quickly settle down in smaller groups throughout the Fraser Valley.
