I always wash my face before the conditioner so I don't accidentally rinse out conditioner while rinsing my face.

Usually I do one wash of the hair to break up the oils. Then wash my face, neck, and shoulders.
Then the second wash of the hair with the good shampoo.
Then the conditioner.
