why people wouldn't want to switch, especially if you used linux previously 😅

Oof, yeah I can imagine 😭 fwiw even though I'm daily driving EndeavourOS which is downstream from Arch, I've heard stuff like Linux Mint being very similar to Win10 and Steam's Proton compatibility layer has worked very well for most of my games personally if that's applicable, but I def understand-

I don't love that the company has also hopped on the AI hype train but unfortunately not many tech companies haven't, so their firmware update that adds their AI news thing only works if you have one of their phones too iirc. I updated mine anyways but I didn't see a difference in performance

Yeah fs! Like I said, I've used mine fairly often for about a year now and they still work great. I didn't realize how much I benefit from ANC until I tried them in a busy restaurant. They work out of box but their app also lets you EQ them a bit too and customize the pinch controls

The death of Windows 10 finally got me to try linux and I'm never looking back, so far the only tool I haven't gotten working yet is Affinity but I use CSP mainly anyways, I highly recommend people look into it if they're not moving to Win11 or Mac!

I don't have others to compare it to since this is my first pair but my audiophile gf bought me some Nothing Ear (a)'s last year and I love them! They have a few different models
