thanks! i actually found out its not broken but i have an extra bone??? the doctor literally called me a fucking mystery bro i just want to be able to walk but he gave me a brace for my ankle and im gonna stay off it and follow up with my ortho im just so confused

UPDATE: it's not broken- the doctor thought it was, but then apparently i have an EXTRA BONE FRAGMENT thats just chilling out in my foot? which is pretty rare ig? and he thinks that might be causing some of the pain and swelling but otherwise he said its a fucking mystery yall wtf

Have strong pain meds prescribed for my chronic pain already, so I haven’t even noticed any serious pain just some mild discomfort in comparison to my back issues

Yeah I mean I went to the er bc my ankle was swelling like crazy and I couldn’t walk on it. I thought it was just another HEDS injury like a sprain or something, but I got an X-ray and theres a fracture which is shocking to me bc I didn’t fall on it or anything? But I feel totally fine I luckily
