Not really, this is a choice by the market, there is incadescent bulbs made long ago that still works. Big market said they need people to keep buying them so the quality dropped. The tech itself has only vulnerability if you keep turning on and off in rapid sequences and frequently.

No word on actual meaningful releases, other than 16 which was nice (I like it a lot) but it was so bloated and out of place. IMO 70% of the game was just noise.

Meanwhile the most sucessful franchise in a long time for Square, Nier Automata, still haven't seen a single meaningful news. Only a remaster that let's be honest, is not that great or necessary. DoD is stuck in the past with just weird references in side material.
