There are multiple causes, ultimately it's intrinsic in society, it's learned from parents or peers, media culture, even religion teaches you that women are subservient to men. One way or another a man has to decide who he wants to be... but most are happy feeling "superior", so why think about it?

Religion separates us from the animal world, from reality. Elevating humans above the animal kingdom not only causes us to strive for meaningless goals and feel a deep discontent, but blinds us to the knowledge that can be gained from understanding we can learn from nature as the children we all are

We are all forced into an unnatural broken society and we're expected to be grateful. Humans, like any other animal, have a simple set of needs. None of them involve office work or rent or the myriad bullshit used to conceal that we're still serfs working the field for the elite.
