Wow! New concrete barriers are being built on Ravenna Blvd near Greenlake. Thanks @seattledot.bsky.social ! You've really been on fire with these bikes lane upgrades this month, keep up the good work!

@seattledot.bsky.social says routes with orange labels #1-7 will all get better bike lanes this year (#8-15 are in design and blue dots are already done). Most of the places are getting concrete barriers. I saw them working on #5 last week (Banner Way NE between Banner Pl and NE 77th).

Hmm... There's nothing about this in the Park Rules. The section about keeping off equipment is identical to the Seattle Center's Park Rules where playing in the fountain is allowed.

This is the photo they put in the 90% design document on their website.

I typically make this face, but I suppose if I really were striving to be polite I could restrain myself to only yawning.

It was definitely Saka's idea. Here is the proof: seattle.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=...

I call BS! Does Saka really think the public is too dumb to realize he wrote the budget proviso requiring SDOT to do this? seattle.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=...

In case my reference was too obscure, I mean kids love having their own path and it's like criticizing this door for being too small (totally missing the point). But this path works for anyone who needs to escape the crowd, and creating a little seclusion & tranquility is a great use of space!

Wait? That's man made? I always just assumed it was built by giant wasps.

Don't underestimate your powers. Didn't this administration refund $5 million in parking tickets because you asked a question about whether they'd followed the proper legal procedures?
