This made me respect the high school dropout I knew who was called out for stolen valor and then tried to reinvent himself as “DJ Yüre” making dubstep with a bunch of samples using Fruity Loops Studios.

I like video pods because it’s like watching a cable tv talk show that I actually care about. But if they are not in person video pods with a set. I want it to look as janky as possible, I want people with 480p webcams and cheap mic’s that spike way too easily. Same rule for solo twitch streamers.

Bingo finally realizing what selling the house meant… Sad Bingo always gets me. The way Chili just tackles Bandit crying in his shoulder after he rips the sign out. 😭

“Onesies” also devastating and then seeing Brandy with the bump in The Sign after just aaaaaaaaaah.

I guess this makes my oven AI too because I just press 3 buttons and throw the food in and then it cooks until a timer goes off. I was living in the future for decades and didn’t even know it.

Otherwise it does seem incredibly dumb the longer they sit on this and let it fester within the gaming community. Which that kind of stuff dos hurt companies all the time. That “dunking” technique can kill the launch of so many products with how fast the internet can rally their hatred towards stuff

Even the market being unpredictable for a reason to withhold pricing doesn’t matter for something already that expensive. Assume its $1000, just mark it up now for $1200 and say it because that very small group will still get it, and you can always discount it to the original $1000 later.

Maybe half a million is sold as workstations and the other 700k is just the top 1% who buy everything and curious influencers who were not sent one for free. If that’s enough for Valve, good for them I guess.

If what Linus said is true about the energy at Valve immediately deflating when he said he was disappointed at their plan to not subsidize it like a console at a $500 price range. That says so much about how they miscalculated the desire of this thing.

The media knows how to weaponize our fears/desires. The thought in the back of our minds “PC will always be around… But what if I made the wrong choice in consoles and mine goes away AND my library?” So the “promise” of an affordable PC that basically functions like a console with cheaper games.
