This shouldn’t be a problem on PC. For a platform of gamers who champion being out of the walled garden of consoles. You really put all your eggs in one basket. You could use other storefronts to support devs, creating a more competitive market (thats good for you). Preventing things like this
Horses is effectively banned from Steam. And unable to reach a significant portion of the PC market, it's highly unlikely to recoup its development costs - meaning Horses very well might be Santa Ragione's final game. https://bit.ly/4oZf00j

I don’t care what Valve’s hopes are for the Steam Machine. A $1000+ price tag is speaking to such an incredibly VERY specific group. I would bet you a PS6 and Xbox Series X-2-Xbox-United that thing will sell about 1.2 million units in the same time span it took them to sell 4mil Steam Decks.

Hellraiser Revival looks so incredibly fucked up (positive). I wonder if it’ll have any issues with be streamed? I mean it’s torture porn at a very basic level and we already know how incredibly touchy Google and Amazon have become lately to not upset their precious Ad partners.

Me having some midnight coffee and window shopping on PCPartPicker for fun (already have a PC) and then I got to the RAM prices… I don’t wanna hear it from the “just build a PC” crowd anymore. $400 for 32gb?! Companies wondering why more people stop upgrading. Be it PC, Phone, Console.

Living in the PNW now means that a cup of coffee, my TV, gaming consoles and PC is basically more than a good enough source of heat in the winter. No A/C is still insane, which is why I had to buy a window unit. But other than that, I do NOT miss the -35° midwest winter!

Well I did have it for free for like 5 years. Honestly $3 a month is how much any of these damn services should cost. I’ll cancel it then, I think I watched like 5 things on it. So guess I’ll binge watch what I want before dropping it like the rest

I wonder if Valve wants to build a new Source Engine. Like show it off in 20,000 years when they finally debut Half-Life 3. What’s the last non-Valve game to use it? All I remember is Titanfall and how that was a big deal during the “everyone must use Frostbite!” at EA period.
