Some of the protesters brought items to keep the two men warm -- heating pads, jacket, food -- but the agents told them they couldn’t get the items to the upper floor.

Jews everywhere understand that this is the omnipresent reality of being Jewish now. There's a reason my synagogue built a 10-foot tall fence around the whole building and has armed security guards.
