I’m late to this but just discovered Google have discontinued the incredible Nest Protect smart smoke alarms.
This is a bad move, I’ve used protects for years and they are wayyyyy better than the competition.

I let my eldest play Breath of the Wild this weekend for the first time.
The look on his face when I helped him with a guardian and destroyed it with a pot lid shield parry.
Hopefully a few more years when I can wow him before he becomes better than me at literally everything.

I finished reading The Worst Witch series to my kids last night. I do love rediscovering books of my childhood through them.
Sad when I realised we will never get to see Mildred as head girl in her final year as Jill Murphy died before writing the last book.

Took a combination of 16 dads and kids to see the Minecraft movie then get Minecraft McDonalds.
It was mayhem but everyone loved it. Not sure what all the hate is about 🪨 ⛏️
