Did a rewatch of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners while dogsitting this weekend. Third time around and it remains just as engaging. Finished the game now I appreciate the shared world so much more. Recognizing all the places in the show in the game was preem.

What's a game or series that despite all the energy around it you just CAN'T get into?
Oblivion/Skyrim has always been a struggle for me. Fallout as well. Bethesda games just feel... Sterile? Not sure what it is.

I wonder why a burger and fries from 1950s McDonald's tastes like compared to what they are now. I wonder if it's even recognizable if someone were to recreate it and taste tested them

Finally got around to Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. Really weird project and had a rough start, just mimicking the movie. Then it got interesting from ep 3 onward as a bizarre mirror / remix of the story into its own self meta commentary staring Ramona. Overall? It's a good time.

I think I'm a bigger fan of Adam Sandler's dirtbag underdog modern flicks (Hubie Halloween, Murder Mystery, Happy Gilmore 2, etc) vs his breakout years of Billy Maddison through Little Nicky.

Had a dream that someone pulled a Sliders (great show) and I got sucked through at least time with them. Was in the discovery phase. But seemed to be a few years in the future (and Arizona..?) as DJT was done but we were in a much more authoritarian state. Found the people who pulled me then woke up

Took me about a year to get to this Insert Coin documentary on Williams/Midway, but it's pretty great... Except for I KNEW the game was cheating (NBA Jam)!

Wrapped the Dungeons & Dragons 2000 and 2005 (direct to TV) movies. Yes, it was like a slightly better quality than Xena / Hercules shows, but its fun to get D&D representation any way I can really. I guess there's a third one? I don't have it though... so Dragon Heart movies are next.

I feel bad for GameStop employees and the fresh hell their corporation is unleashing on them w/this "buy back anything" stunt. Have seen a few vids of employees basically being told "you're fucked. Plan for the worst. And to be farmed for content. So wear a mask if you don't want to be on TikTok."
