How funny would it have been to be a fly on the wall when someone told the administration that Nicki Minaj is an immigrant 🤣🤣🤣

The democrats continue to screw up and could have one the Texas senate seat by even more if they implemented my personal preferences. I can’t believe how bad Dems continue to screw up.

Reading Ross Douthat is a fun journey of an intellectual rationalize his way into Trumpism. His opinion piece today states that Canada and middle powers have to obey Trump because “they don’t have the cards” and the failure of the west can be pinpointed on non white immigration (see Angela Merkel)

The one thing I believe about Trump and I’m fearful is that he’s great at sizing up his enemies. He knows when he can tolerate slings and arrows and when the people he wants to walk over can’t. Europe won’t save us. That’s wish casting. Even the woman who stood up to Maduro gave up her Nobel prize.

It’s funny that I’ve probably been center right my whole life. But Trump changes the meaning of center in such a meaningful way that it’s clarifying

The only upside to Trump’s unhinged note to Europe is watching people like Ross Douthat trying to thread the needle of “the left is worse” “If Trump pivots” and “I was always against an authoritarian madman” if it wasn’t so tragic it would be funny

Both sides-ism at its worst. The author says 77% of Republicans are deeply conservative and 59% of Democrats are progressive. Same! Imagine if a child got 59% in one class and 77% in another? Would they both get C+?

Also Elon Musk: "Anyone who teaches students that America was built on stolen land is guilty of treason and should be imprisoned."

Look, some of us tried to warn people that Elon Musk doesn't care one bit about free speech. But did anyone listen?

So THIS TIME Bret Stephens is right. He's been pretty spot on in his intervention views and predictions have been spot on so far.

Everything democrats do is wrong. I can't think of any criticisms of republicans. A short essay by Ruy Teixira.

The Stephen Miller Paradox: if you sent Stephen Miller back in time to 1900 to set American immigration policy, his entire bloodline would have been murdered and he is never born, this he could not have ever been sent back in time...makes you think, huh?

Been spending stime reading National Review discuss vaccines and RFK. With distance I believe Fauci did do long term damage in order to save lives in the moment. I understand why he did it but going forward you can't fudge or shade a narrative even if it costs lives. Unimaginable future harms coming

Also, Justice Kavanaugh sounds like he really, really wants a second try at his decision authorizing Kavanaugh Stops.

He's now insisting that immigration enforcement should not be like EXACTLY WHAT IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT IS LIKE UNDER TRUMP'S THUGGERY.

Right wing podcasters discovering that conspiracy theories always lead to antisemitism plus David Brooks getting outed hanging out with Epstein has just taken my schadenfreude to a whole new level. Ben Shapiro having to deal with Candace Owens is just a chef's kiss

I get dunking on the DNC. But haven't Dems been blaming each other for the last 13 months? What good has come from any of the autopsies? Also when Trump is self immolating, why should they knock him off the front page? The MSM loves to cover Democrats infighting. It would get wall to wall coverage.

Every time Ross Douthat writes something that I couldn't believe could be any stupider. He comes in and totally redeems himself to take it to a whole new level. Without evidence, he blames white men's racist radicalization on a feeling that white men have been systemically discriminated against.

Ezra Klein and TNC had a podcast where they discussed the duty of writers and Ezra roughly said to change minds and show compassion for those on the other side. TNC said it was to tell the truth no matter the political calculation. The bleat about Rob Reiner reinforces what side I choose.
