Reminder to everyone donating to food banks in light of the Republicans starving SNAP: It is far more cost effective to donate directly to food banks than to buy food and give it to them. They can buy in bulk and have existing relationships with sellers, so your few bucks go way further that way

Because of this, the food bank at my local LGBT+ center has been a bloodline. It's run by Operation Healthy Hearts.

We are afloat-ish, but rent is coming up fast, and there is no extra for anything. I get paid on Wednesday, but that is all gonna have to go to utilities and rent. Then nothing for two weeks.
