If somebody wanted to get weird with it, integrating atproto into something like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WASTE?w... might be a way forward for easy local to hoste servers that solves the auth bottleneck of thr old tool.

My favorite thing about the internet is that it has unmoored people from the requirement to risk mockery so much so that leftist and rightist politics are just an ever escalating improv bit where facts slowly cease to matter for each group.

I think it is always a good reminder that fighting authoritarianism you don't like with a different authoritarianism that you do like, always loses to some other version of authoritarianism.

My generalized belief about people obsessed with IQs is that they have a sneaking suspicion that they're the dumbest person in the room, but have to come up "factual evidence" that they aren't, especially when they've benefitted from systemic bias. If you're clever you dont really have to prove it.
What is it about white nationalists that makes them obsessed with IQ, and “high IQ”? Clark was like that too. Always talking about how he was “five standard deviations above the norm” in IQ. We used to laugh at him behind his back about it.

I know its besides the point but do not let the line "criminal" illegal alien pass your objection phase when dealing with those among you that support this fascism. Being undocumented in this country is a civil penalty, not a criminal. Its a parking ticket, not a felony, or even misdemeanor.

As someone who lives in a swingey Midwestern state, the fa t they went after Minnesota and Chicago first to see what the resistance would be like is telling. I think they know images from Detroit or Cleveland or other rust belt cities would break through the national conversation.
