The next step? Introduce a model with a similar look to the art style I'd like to get for a possible game, add some attacks, blocking and dodging...

I finally made it. Taking time to analyse the needs and write more meaningful code was the key. I was able to add new animations and mechanics quite easily. The character controller project was finally going the way I wanted it to.

Every time I tried to add a new animation or a new mechanic (like combat) everything was too complex. It didn't scale well at all ☹️

So it was time to start from scratch again, planning it better and working a bit better on the structure and architecture of the character controller.

Creating a character controller wich that can interact with the environment, affected by physics and animations is a lot more complex than many people might think. This is my second try of creating a character controller with a state machine. It worked, it worked fine, but was not "perfect"

The idea was to see if I could create something with enough quality to become something more. So I started to test with some maps and assest from the net and see how the feel with controls and camera was.

Aún recuerdo cuando los precios de los juegos de PC eran casi la mitad que los de consola, por aquello de que en consola había que pagar el canon del fabricante, etc... 80 pavazos un juego digital para PC. 😵

Yo es que soy muy listo y llego siempre tarde. Este juego está descatalogado desde hace ni se sabe, no tengo ni el básico, tengo el de la era de la rebelión, pero que más da.

Los libros de rol son mi placer culpable. Ya os enseñaré mi humilde colección
