I forgot to mention ASW. Unknown if the current design has the modifications necessary but I'm going to say it doesn't based on this quote from the USNI article about FF(X) plus this quote from a DTIC article on the base NSC design

So here I attached an image of the concept art for the new FF(X) and a concept video HII did a couple years ago of potential modifications to the NSC. The most VLS cells you see in the video is 16. The most you'll see in the concept art is maybe 4? Difficult to tell.

RUSI just had a great article on Russian air defense come out. There's a bit about salvos of 100 to 150 drones not doing significant enough damage because the payload is too small. The flexibility UAS loitering munitions offers are great but people need to stop pretending they're without tradeoffs.

Yes the CRS report explicitly went out of its way to address this. People actually wanted to put 48 VLS on the Constellation because some stakeholders believed 32 wasn't enough.
